What We Do
Foster Educational and Creative Growth
With an aim to foster educational and creative growth in rural communities of Bolivia, Los Libros del Sol continually coordinates and conducts various activities which benefit the residents of rural communities of Bolivia.
The activities of Los Libros del Sol are divided into three general areas - learning materials, educational seminars, and community libraries. As the needs of different communities continue to be identified, Los Libros del Sol will use these three general areas to both develop new activities and refine existing activities that are performed in order to foster educational and creative growth.
Los Libros del Sol places high importantance in reaching out to all age groups of the rural communities - from the young children who are starting their formal education to the community elders who have historically not had access to any form of formal education during their lifetimes.
